Practicing with a Metronome, Technique, Major Scales, Pentatonic Scales, and Basic Jazz Progression

In this masterclass you will learn how to use a metronome and tune your ear to its pulse. You will also learn how to practice synchronization of left and right hands. To solidify this technique we will go over basic chord shapes, with the use of front and back system, and basic scale shapes: major scale shapes in 5 positions and pentatonic scales in 5 positions. You will also learn about the 2-5-1 Jazz chord progression (ii-V-I) with the use of the cycle of fourths; progression in major, minor, and how to transition from one to the other.
